Coblation, or controlled ablation, is a newer and less invasive surgical technique. It utilizes radiofrequency energy to ionize saline solution, creating a plasma field that gently and precisely removes tissues. Here's a description of Coblation tonsil and adenoid surgery:

Coblation Tonsillectomy: In Coblation tonsillectomy, a specialized wand with a Coblation device is inserted through the mouth. This device operates at a lower temperature compared to conventional methods, reducing the risk of thermal damage to surrounding tissues. It provides a more controlled removal of the tonsils and can result in less pain and faster recovery.

Coblation Adenoidectomy: Coblation adenoidectomy is similar to tonsillectomy. The surgeon uses Coblation technology to remove the adenoids gently. This technique minimizes postoperative discomfort and shortens recovery times.
