A small incision is made on the side of the nose, near the corner of the eye, or sometimes inside the nostril. The surgeon guides the endoscope through this incision to visualize the blockage and create a new connection between the tear sac and the nasal cavity. This new passage allows tears to bypass the obstruction and flow freely into the nasal space.
